22 squirrels!

22 squirrels! That's how many happy squirrels sleep in our nestboxes tonight. Among them are 4 mothers and their 15+ babies, all born in a span of 2 days in mid-February. The 1st time we have so many squirrels, so many babies, born so close to each other. Plus, a 5-month long resident starling. Hooray!

Squirrel inner life is truly amazing, beautiful and tender, and it is our privilege to share it with our viewers. New camera with large deer antler for squirrel mothers 6. Train AI to recognize squirrel faces and add virtual name tags on streams 7. Make camera transitions smooth, for a true nature documentary livestream experience 8. Add live nest stats (temperature, time since last activity) 9. Add lighting inside squirrel feeder huts 10.
