Hello squirrel lovers!  Hana's babies have names now: Boy: Buddy “Pushy” Holly Girl 1: Cinnamon “Twitchy” Sakura Girl 2: Rose “Stretchy” Biscuit We've learned a couple important things from you: 1) Buddy was a very good squirrel and a good friend to many people over years. He was also known under other names of Wili or Vili and had a sister named Hazel. 2) Not many squirrels are called Pushy , Twitchy and Stretchy (also  Shovey ! from Erin ** , Scamper , and Fuzzy ), but they should be 3) Hana is a beautiful squirrel mother, bringing calm and joy to many viewers. Some even think that she's an antidepressant (we agree)  4) Nut names ( Hazel, Peanut & Cashew ) make great names for squirrels 5) There's a lot of symbolism going on for our babies: from Wood* ***: Since they were born on July 25, Leo is the fifth sign of the zodiac (July 22 to August 23), and it's represented by the lion. Frogs have been living in the nest since late spring of 2022. Hana knows about frogs, bumps into them sitting in the tunnel when she leaves in the morning, she simply ignores the frogs😂 This is Hana with the frog days before Hana gave birth:  https://youtu.be/NNyB1nCSh34 And a funny video of frog scaring baby squirrels late in the evening: Frogs always lived on Hana’s tree, showing us a leg or a finger👍 on our Blink motion activated cameras. We didn’t see them well because They cannot really activate “passive” motion sensors. These sensors react to warm blooded animals but sometimes (2 times a year) a frog would block the sun or hot part of the nest, and we would have a glimpse at their life fingers 👍.   Initially we couldn’t believe our eyes then thought that this is an accident (flying frog? 😂🤦‍♂️).  Last year we installed 24/7 security cameras and confirmed their existence!   Hana was away for almost 14 (!) hours today. We had a good plan in place but no help from humans can compare to a caring mother squirrel. Hana, you made us so worried! Don’t do it again.
